In order to support our customers with quick turnaround orders, TPS invests heavily in stocking our game changing filter pressed, water resistant TPSX-12® calcium silicate. Here are the sizes of calsil we stock at our location north of Seattle in Stanwood, Washington:
- Copper tubing sizes (CTS)
- 1, 1.5 and 2” wall thicknesses
- 5/8 x 1 through 4 1/8 x 2
- 6 1/8“ copper available fabricated into 18” lengths
- Iron Pipe Sizes (IPS)
- 1, 1.5 and 2” wall thicknesses
- 1/2 x 1 up to 20 x 2 in even increments above 6” pipe
- 4 1/2“ pipe cover is non-stock, but can be fabricated in 18” lengths
- Stanwood does not stock the following odd sizes:
- 7, 9, 11, 15, 17 or 19” diameters
-
However, our Las Vegas location does stock all even and odd increments up to 24 x 2 for multi-layering and heat traced pipes.
- 7, 9, 11, 15, 17 or 19” diameters
-
1” wall thickness in every stocked pipe size from 1/2 to 20” diameter!
- Our competitor does not offer 1” wall thickness above 6 x 1
- Why pay more for 1 ½” thick calsil just because the other guys don’t offer it? TPS offers 1” wall because our calsil is stronger!!
- Due to numerous customer requests, our Stanwood location is also now stocking selected 3” wall thickness sizes in single layer:
- 4 x 3
- 6 x 3
- 8 x 3
- 10 x 3
- 12 x 3
As a reminder, the North American nomenclature for pipe insulation sizes is the following:
- Pipe size x wall thickness of the insulation
- For instance pipe insulation produced to cover a 6” pipe that is 2” thick is called
- 6 x 2 – Pronounced as “Six by two”
